Dear Families, Faculty, Students, and Community,
It is not lost on us that this is to be a very special year.  On Monday, August 21st the moon will shadow the sun blocking daylight and turning it to KNIGHT!  

Yes, from 1:16pm to 4:06pm we will experience an eclipse that has not happened in NC for 375 years.  LINK for video model.  In our mind, this is foreshadowing that this is the YEAR OF THE KNIGHTS!

A great kick off to an outstanding year!  A few highlights for this month!

First PTSA Meeting 2017-2018 Monday, August 7th (6pm, Media Center)  Parents, faculty, and students invited.  Many, many great things ahead!

AUGUST DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

• Stadium Clean Up and Fall Team Pictures – TODAY, August 5th (8am)  Volunteers needed to work on the grounds around the stadium, work in the stadium, and help to clean and organize concessions. (sponsored by Booster Club)
• Faculty Tailgate East Wake @ HOME Friday, August 18 (5-7pm, Commons/Cafeteria)  Volunteers and donations are needed.   SIGN UP LINK
• Campus Beautification/Volunteer Wednesday, August 23rd (8-11:30am, w/ teachers)
• JV Football Concessions vs. Sanderson Thursday, August 24th (5:30-9pm)  PTSA earns $125 for our budget for every JV Concessions we work.  Volunteers needed! SIGN UP LINK
