Academic Rigor: Unyielding

January 22, 2015

NEW UPDATES

Dr. Argent is creating a KHSCD COMMUNITY THINK TANK to develop a 5 year vision and strategic plan for Knightdale High. He is seeking 15 parents of 6-10th grade students.  We still need about ten parents.  We specifically want East Wake Middle and Wendell Middle School families. This group is a working group. Members will be asked to collect data, research, read, and bring forth diverse ideas.  This group will work closely with KHSCD, WCPSS, and the town of Knighdale in setting goals and designing innovative solutions. Divergent thinking is wanted (but no complaining).   Membership will be limited to 15 parents, and parents will be asked to attend all meetings.  If a parent misses multiple meetings or is unable to participate fully he or she will be asked to leave the group, creating space for a member able to fully engage.  If interested please go to this LINK and fill out a Google Form. Our first meeting is this Wednesday, January 27 (6-7:30pm).

Feb 9 Basketball is away at East Wake. PTSA will not be doing concessions. There was a mix-up in scheduling.
