Happy Thanksgiving!

Last night we had a wonderful celebration of our Honor Roll and President’s List students.   KHSCD Student Ambassador Eynisa Morrison’s opening speech.

Friday, December 15th is our first Winter Wonderland Dance.  This is a semi-formal event co-sponsored between the PTSA and the Student Government Association.  PTSA needs drink and snack donations, and five parent volunteers to help run concessions/clean up. Dominoes is donating pizza, and freshman dad, Thomas Beam is donating FREE digital photography for the students.  SIGN UP

KHSCD will be a RESTART school.  What does this mean? East Wake Middle became a RESTART school last year. Article  Knightdale High just got approved to be a RESTART for next year.  What does that mean? It means Dr. Argent and KHSCD will have charter school flexibility.  Please join our PTSA on Monday, January 8th to learn more about this new future for our high school.  6pm PTSA meeting followed by Dr. Argent’s presentation at 6:30pm. (Media Center)

Reminder, we have canceled our Monday, December 4th PTSA meeting, as an effort to honor family time at this busy time of year.

KHSCD PTSA won the NC PTA $50 for 50 more members than last year! Special thanks goes to Amanda Coe and her team including Gina Chambers, Judy Boone, Mona Chevis, and Kristin Poirier.
