We had a great turn out at our PTSA General Meeting! We continue to get a lot done and so far we keep putting out needs and getting tremendous response! We are genuinely so proud to be part of this parent community that is making KHSCD a CULTURE of EXCELLENCE!
Your PTSA is a self-determined ACADEMIC BOOSTER. This is our sole purpose! With this we will keep this week’s TO DO LIST very simple. It is not about PTSA…it is about parents getting COLLEGE READY with their children!
- If you are a parent of a junior or senior go to WCPSS College Open House on Sunday, 2-4:30pm, @ NCSU McKimmon Center!
- All parents “connect with Student Services” so you can take advantage of all the incredible support they are giving to academics this year! There is a lot happening on behalf of academics, and it is our job as parents to get the word out. You can follow through twitter, text, or your Email. See below and share with friends/neighbors/churches/fellow families in athletics!
- Senior parents attend Thursday’s Senior Night. More about colleges, transcripts, scholarships, and financial aid.
- Academic Recognition Night is coming. Mark your calendars! Monday, November 16.
Connect with KHSCD Student Services
- The Student Services Department is asking that each student at KHSCD connect with us through our twitter account (@KHSCDCounselors) and also by joining your graduation year groups REMIND acct. Throughout the year there will be numerous times we need to share information with you.
- ** PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO FOLLOW US ON TWITTER (@KHSCDCounselors) and ADD yourself to your graduation year groups REMIND account.
