Happy New Year! We hope your holidays included time with loved ones. Please remember that students do not go back until Tuesday, and there is a new bell schedule. As we prepare to begin the second semester we have two important January events.

State of Knightdale High: A conversation with Principal Richardson (Monday, Jan 13, 6:30pm) – Six months ago Mr. Richardson took over Knightdale High and asked that we are #ALLIN. Please join us for an important reflection on how our progress. How have we grown, how do we measure improvement, and what are his goals for the second half of this year? Please RSVP so that PTSA chooses an appropriate space. Please feel free to submit questions even if you are unable to attend.
Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream of things that never were and ask why not. – Robert Kennedy
Special thanks to Glenda Brooks for her incredible work with her church, Northside Community Church, to make stockings for 50 of our students in need! Northside also collected $20 grocery cards for each family and $10 restaurant cards for the students. Burn Bootcamp has raised money for the Care Depot. Any money not needed for the Giving Tree was used to stock the depot for the New Year. Rachel Barnes, Executive Director, of Northside Compassion Project has led our donation drive. “I have been blessed to see such Giving and compassion this year,” Glenda Brooks, mom of senior Jud.
